An Exceptional Guide – Private Experiences in Paris
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale govern all bookings made through www.anexceptionalguide.com and apply to all clients booking private guided experiences, tours, and related services.
By confirming a reservation, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and fully accepted these terms.

2. Scope of Services
The company provides private tourism services including, but not limited to:
- Private guided tours
- Food and cultural experiences
- Customised itineraries
- Chauffeur-assisted private experiences (where applicable)
All services are private and booked exclusively per client or private group.
3. Booking and Contract Formation
A booking becomes legally binding upon confirmation and full payment.
Once confirmed, the reservation constitutes a service contract between the client and the provider under French law.
Each booking reserves a dedicated time slot and professional availability exclusively allocated to the client.
4. Pricing and Payment
All prices are stated in euros (€) and include applicable taxes unless otherwise specified.
Full payment is required at the time of booking in order to confirm the reservation.
The provider reserves the right to modify prices at any time; however, confirmed bookings will not be affected.
5. Cancellation Policy (Strictly Non-Refundable)
All bookings are strictly non-refundable.
Once a reservation has been confirmed, no refunds shall be granted under any circumstances, including but not limited to:
- Personal reasons
- Travel disruptions
- Illness
- Late arrival or no-show
- Change of mind
Clients are strongly advised to use a payment method that includes travel cancellation insurance.
6. Flexibility and Modifications
Although non-refundable, bookings are fully exchangeable.
Clients may:
- Reschedule their experience
- Choose an alternative experience offered by the provider
- Transfer their booking to another person
All modifications remain subject to availability and reasonable notice.
7. Provider Commitment and Time Allocation
Each booking reserves a dedicated time slot for the guide and, where applicable, the private chauffeur.
This time allocation is exclusive and prevents resale of the same slot to other clients.
The client acknowledges that each booking represents a firm operational commitment and reserved professional time.
8. Late Arrival and No-Show Policy
Clients are required to arrive at the designated meeting point at the agreed time.
Failure to attend or late arrival does not entitle the client to any refund.
The booking remains valid under the non-refundable and exchangeable policy described above.
9. Service Modifications
The provider reserves the right to modify itineraries, timing, or content when necessary due to operational, safety, or quality considerations.
Such modifications do not entitle the client to compensation.
10. Force Majeure
The provider shall not be held liable for failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to:
weather conditions, strikes, government restrictions, public disturbances, or safety issues.
In such cases, an alternative date or equivalent service will be offered.
11. Liability
The provider shall not be held responsible for:
- Personal injury or accidents
- Loss or theft of personal belongings
- Delays caused by traffic, weather, or third parties
Clients participate at their own risk.
12. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, texts, images, and materials are the exclusive property of the provider.
Any reproduction, distribution, or use without prior written permission is strictly prohibited.
13. Personal Data Protection (GDPR)
Personal data is collected solely for booking management, customer communication, and service execution.
The provider complies with applicable European data protection regulations.
Clients have the right to access, modify, and request deletion of their personal data at any time.
14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These General Terms and Conditions are governed by French law.
In the event of a dispute and failing amicable resolution, exclusive jurisdiction shall be granted to the competent courts of Paris, France.
